1938 Dress – ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs’

Costume Designer, Draper, and Technician: Laura Parker I designed the costumes for NRACT’s production of ‘Brighton Beach Memoirs’ in March, 2011.  Due to budgetary concerns, the majority of the show was Goodwill shopped or borrowed – but I ended up building Blanche’s ‘going out’ dress.  Based of a 1938 Sears catalog image. 1930’s Apron Project
