This dress is based loosely on paintings from Venice in the latter half of the 16th century. This dress was put together before I started documenting and blogging projects seriously – so there’s no real story here. I don’t anticipate doing another one of these dresses anytime soon, since my focus has shifted to working-class clothing. Still, it was a fun dress to wear!
